Senior Java Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned and highly skilled Java Engineering Director to lead the technology efforts at a leading cryptocurrency exchange. This position is ideal for a tech leader with a strong passion for hands-on coding and extensive expertise in tackling complex data issues. This role is based in Singapore.

Requirements

• Over 12 years of professional experience in Java development, with expertise in high performance Java and async programming patterns

• Extensive hands-on experience in the big data space, with a proven ability to solve complex data challenges

• Solid knowledge in distributed systems and microservices architecture

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing and guiding engineering teams.

• Hands-on coding experience remains essential

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with different stakeholders

• Familiarity with or willingness to learn trading products, including spot, futures, swaps, options, and structured products within financial and crypto markets is preferred

• Experience in crypto or traditional trading systems or large, complex distributed systems is highly preferred.
