Senior Java Developer (Data)

Our client is a leading global investment management firm with a strong presence across major financial hubs.

This role will allow you to build and support high-performance, scalable systems that underpin the firm's financial data platform. You'll work hands-on with modern technologies (Java, Kafka, Spark, AWS, etc.), while also contributing to architectural decisions, system optimization, and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java and microservices

• Proven track record designing and delivering distributed, scalable systems

• Strong exposure to big data (Spark, Kafka, Scala) and cloud (AWS, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with data ware housing concepts and modern platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Postgres, etc.)

• Hands-on experience in delivering L1 support

• Financial services (Capital Market)/Trading environment experience is a must

• Experience in technical leadership, stakeholder management and developer mentorship is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and system support skills
