Senior Legal Counsel, E-commerce

Our client is a global e-commerce firm, looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their Regional team in Singapore.

Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will be responsible for commercial, corporate, IP, regulatory, and employment matters in Southeast Asia region. Responsibilities include reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements. Ensuring legal compliance, conducting research, handling employment issues, and presenting to stakeholders. You will ensure the company's activities align with internal policies and legal regulations, particularly in relation to marketing and promotions.

Requirements:

• Qualified to practice law and in good standing in Singapore, US, UK, or the EU
• At least 5 years' corporate or commercial law experience
• Good legal drafting and research skills
• Experience in marketing and e-commerce business is a plus
• Ability to adapt to changes and willing to learn new things in a high growth environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to converse in Mandarin as interaction with Chinese clients is required
