Senior Manager/ Financial Controller - SSC/ CoE

Job description

Our client is a well-established and reputable MNC with global operation. To facilitate their company growth, they are looking for a high calibre Senior Manager/ Financial Controller to join their regional finance team to support the business growth.

Reporting to the Regional Finance Head, your responsibilities include:

  • Leading Solid Finance teams across the region
  • Monitoring and motivating the teams in CoE/ SSC to ensure the quality of their deliverables, and to enhance the efficiency of the operations
  • Responsible the core finance functions including Controllership, Statutory and Management Reporting, Taxation (regional tax and transfer pricing matters) and Treasury
  • Liaising closely and ensuring the CoE/SSC are operating with excellence and comply with local regulatory standards
  • Supporting the critical transition of functions and manpower to the COE/ SSC, including the Record-to-Report process and Operational Finance functions
  • Assist in Core Finance projects e.g. business migration/ process improvement/ operational excellence/ transformation
  • Ensure the compliance of accounting standards, internal controls, policies and processes are aligned at the regional level
  • Working closely and supporting different senior internal stakeholders and external parties (professional advisors, vendors, auditors, bankers, lawyers etc)

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline, Qualified accountant (ACCA/ CPA) is required. Training in Big4 is preferred.
  • At least 10 years working experiences, including working in sizable companies with overseas entities
  • Experiences in setting up or monitoring CoE/ SSC are highly preferred
  • Solid regional exposure and experiences in leading regional teams are required
  • Leadership experiences and Strong business Partnering skillsets
  • Experiences in fast-paced environment
  • Solid Regional/ Overseas exposures are highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and business partnership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin to business partner various stakeholders
  • Occasional Travel is needed after border reopens
