Senior Network Engineer (Marine Communication, West)

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering team. Your extensive knowledge and experience will be crucial in the installation and termination of network equipment, including Copper & Fiber Outlets, patch panels, and cable management. You will also be responsible for testing and programming network switches, routers, WLAN controllers, access points (APs), and firewalls. Additionally, your expertise will contribute to system architecture design and implementation within data center infrastructure, covering servers (VMware), SAN storage, and network components.

1. Take full ownership of system design and implementation, ensuring alignment with client requirements throughout the project lifecycle until successful project delivery.
2. Conduct FAT in the workshop and provide comprehensive reports.
3. Deliver training sessions, presentations, and ongoing support to clients.

Key Deliverables:

• Develop detailed functional designs for network and infrastructure components.
• Create clear block diagrams illustrating the overall infrastructure layout.
• Document the termination points and connections within the system.
• Define network, server, and storage configurations.
• Establish security policies for the infrastructure.
• Prepare Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) procedures and reports.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science, network engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Detail-oriented, objective-driven, time-sensitive, and resourceful.

Certifications (Preferred):

1. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
2. NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or EMC equivalent
3. VMware Certified Implementation Expert 6 - Data Center Virtualization (VCIX6-DCV)
