Job description
My client is looking to hire a Senior Transformation Project Manager within the Middle Office to be based in Singapore. You will be responsible for managing a team of professionals based in the region and deliver excellent service levels to clients and take charge of key strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible on managing one or many work streams within large, complex transformation programs specific to APAC or in connection with global initiatives or specific metiers/functions under the leadership of Transformation Leader. Derive viable solutions through deep-dive analysis, problem solving, process/organisation re-engineering, target operating model design etc. Drive independently under minimal supervision the business / process / organisational improvement projects through consulting mindset, ensuring solid framing of projects and impactful & quality delivery Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to project & monitor commitment. Ensure change control is executed throughout project. Establish project communication needs and support creation of project communication plan. Track actual project costs, identify variances, and reforecast project costs as needed. Measure project management performance against standards. Create the project risk management plan. Work with procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close project contracts. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area to resolve issues. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (3 years managing a team) with Project Management, Transformation Programs and Process & Organisation Consulting with businesses preferably from a Implementation Consultancy/Management Consultancy/Big 4 Consultancy in Singapore
- Strong interpersonal, communication and people management skills and client interfacing
- Able to work independently.
