Senior QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality initiatives for our payments platform, with strong experience in mobile and web application testing, test automation, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web and mobile applications
• Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance/load testing
• Execute mobile app testing (Android & iOS) including compatibility, usability, and reliability testing
• Identify, track, and drive resolution of defects with development teams
• Lead root cause analysis for critical issues and drive long-term quality improvements
• Establish and enhance QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Review requirements and designs to ensure testability and quality
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and communicate risks and recommendations
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a strong quality culture

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on test automation
• Experience testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web applications
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar)
• Exposure to mobile automation tools (Appium or similar) is a plus
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC
• Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
