Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Our client is a global market infrastructure provider that supports the financial system through highly reliable trading and investment platforms. Their teams collaborate closely to maintain high‑availability systems and drive ongoing improvements to critical financial technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide site reliability and operational support for real‑time trading platforms during US market hours
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot production, DR, and certification systems
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution across global teams
• Manage platform configuration changes and support new releases
• Operate and optimize low‑latency Linux‑based infrastructure
• Support capacity planning, automation, reporting, and system improvements
• Participate in on‑call coverage and weekend testing as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in technical operations or site reliability engineering
• Strong experience with Linux/UNIX, shell scripting, SQL, and Python (or similar)
• Experience supporting production systems and incident management
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, multicast)
• Ability to work independently across time zones and shifting schedules
