Senior/Principal Backend Engineer (.NET)

Job Description

My client is a leading global inter-dealer broker, and they are seeking Senior to Principal level Backend Software Engineers to lead the development of high-performance systems powering critical trading and data platforms. In this role, you'll design and maintain scalable, real-time applications using .NET/C# technologies within a fast-paced, Agile environment supporting global markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience within financial or trading environments
• Deep expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core using Visual Studio
• Strong database skills with MSSQL Server or MySQL
• Proven experience designing and building distributed systems
• Solid understanding of AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and handling FIX-based integrations is highly desirable
• Experience with asset classes such as FX, Rates, or Equities is a bonus
• Exposure to Java and JavaScript is a plus
• For Principal Engineer applicants: prior experience in leading development teams is essential
