Service Engineer (Marine Communication, West)

Company Overview: Our client is a Singapore-based Marine Communication Equipment and Service Provider specializing in marine electronic equipment and communication integration solutions for offshore vessels in the Asia region.

Our clinet is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer (Marine) to oversee the repair and maintenance of ship navigation, communication, Satcom, VSAT/TVRO, PAGA/PABX, and GMDSS systems. Reporting directly to the Head of Marine Electronics, the Service Engineer will collaborate closely with our business partners. Their primary responsibilities include equipment installation, testing, and technical support on shipping vessels.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Involvement:

   • Participate in marine electronics equipment installation projects.
   • Coordinate and liaise with shipyards for related projects.

2. Repair and Maintenance:

   • Assist with repair work in the workshop.

3. System Setup and Briefing:

   • Brief business partners on various navigational and communication system setups.

4. Technical Support:

   • Provide technical assistance to business partners.

5. Reporting:

   • Prepare detailed reports on equipment status and performance for business partners.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Communication Engineering.
• Experience: 1-4 years of relevant experience in the marine industry.
