Software Engineer (Python)

Job Description

Our client, a renowned global investment management firm, is seeking a talented Software Engineer (Rapid Application Development) to join a key team focused on building hybrid and cloud-based solutions for portfolio management teams. This role involves developing and managing Python libraries, cloud modules, and automation scripts while enabling machine learning and data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field

• 4-8 years of development experience in hybrid or cloud environments

• Proficiency in Python coding

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)

• Good DevOps expertise, especially with automation and data pipelines

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Extensive exposure to GCP and AWS cloud environments

• Preferred experience in financial or startup environments
