System Specialist (Windows & Virtualization)

We are partnering a global investment management firm, to identify a System Specialist. You will be part of a global team of engineers to deliver crucial services and projects.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and overseeing Windows systems and services both on-premises and in the clou. You will optimize and monitor virtualization stack on a global scale to ensure efficient performance and resource utilization. Additionally, you will handle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) systems and infrastructure. You will also create advanced PowerShell workflows for automation and self-healing to streamline operations and improve system resilience.

Requirements

You are degree qualified with at least 1 year of Windows environment experience. You are experienced in managing VMware and vSphere setups. You will have experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python. Experiences managing O365 services will be beneficial.
