Systems Validation Engineer (Entry Level)

Our client a leading semiconductor company in Singapore is seeking a motivated Graduate System Validation Engineer to join its expanding R&D center. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced Ethernet PHY and switch systems, collaborating with experienced engineers on real-world product development and validation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct system validation and testing for Ethernet PHY and switch devices across various development stages.
• Perform electrical measurements and basic verification using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Support validation and troubleshooting of communication interfaces including SPI, I2C, and MDIO.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data to ensure product performance meets design requirements.Collaborate with design, firmware, and software engineering teams to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to the automation of test procedures, workflows, and data processing using Python or similar scripting languages.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance validation methodologies and efficiency.

Requirements

• Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in semiconductor system design, testing, and validation.
• Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits, as well as common communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, MDIO).
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting/programming languages.
• Hands‑on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.) through coursework or internships is a plus.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to learn in a corporate, global engineering environment.
