Technical Project Manager - Financial Services

We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong development background who has transitioned into managing technology projects. This position involves working closely with senior stakeholders, quant researchers, trading teams, and developers across multiple asset classes, including FX, equities, and fixed income.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage technology projects, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.
• Work on system design, API design, and data analysis to support trading and investment technology.
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to define project goals and execution plans.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve roadblocks to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate documentation for project specifications and technical solutions.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, quant researchers, trading teams, and development teams.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the financial sector.
• Strong foundation in software development, preferably in Python or KDB+/q.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA).
• Good understanding of microservices, domain-driven design, API design, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with quant researchers, traders, and tech teams.
