My client is a leading commodity trading firm with a strong financial background. They are looking for a Trade finance executive to join their team in Singapore

The incumbent would help to handle Letter of Credit applications to banks. Further, to process and handle trade finance instruments to suppliers and counterparties, i.e. Import LC, SBLC, Guarantee, Bid Bonds, Performance bonds etc. Placing transactions with financing banks and further liaising with same throughout the life of the transaction and checking workability of Export Letters of Credit and requesting amendments.

Also, to assist in preparing LC required documentation such as commercial invoice, beneficiary certificates, insurance certificates etc. You need to understand in-house financeable trade structures and practically applying them to the physical trades executed to maximise leverage.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• 2+ years' of relevant experience
• Experience with Agri's is a plus
• Knowledge of trade finance structures
• A bachelors' degree in any discipline
• Strong stakeholder management
• Good multitasking skills
• Good communication skills required for this role
