Trade Operations Assistant Manager

Our client is a European commodity trading firm with a strong presence in Asian markets. They are hiring for an experienced professional to support end-to-end operations for Fertilizer trading. The scope includes handling and managing shipping documents, managing documents for LC application and bank negotiation, vessel tracking on cargo readiness and documentation to ensure smooth delivering of the commodity products.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 6+ years of working experience in commodity industry handling dry bulk and/or container shipments, preferably experienced in Fertilizer trading operations
• Experienced in managing or leading a team
• Handled import and export shipping documents
• Experienced in liaising with banks, shipping agents, customers, and ship owners
• Positive working attitude with initiative and attention to details
• Fluency in Mandarin is required to communicate with Chinese stakeholders such as operators and charterers
