Our client is a fortune 500 US financial technology company established many years ago and has over 15,000 employees worldwide. The company has been showing a very consistent growth within the SEA region especially in Singapore. As such, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre and driven individual to join the sales team to support the aggressive growth plans.

Based in Singapore and reporting into the Vice President of Asia, you will develop and implement sales strategies for the SEA region. You will represent the company and the brand to build strong relationship with customers. As a hunter, you will proactively gain more market share and open new accounts. You will need to be comfortable with software sales and ideally have experience in pitching to investment bankers, lawyers and corporate executives. The job entails direct sales, cold-calling, self lead-generation and some degree of client entertainment.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Minimum 7 years of IT software selling experience in the financial sector
  • Experience in selling VDR is a big advantage
  • Proven sales track record with hunger to succeed
  • Experience in solutions selling and /or enterprise selling environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Clear understanding of and experience with consultative sales process
  • 5 or more years of experience selling enterprise cloud-based software to financial services organisations and/or corporations.
  • Understanding or strong interest in finance, in particular Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets
