I'm currently partnering with a global leading asset manager. They are currently setting up a new division and are looking for an ambitious and experienced candidate to join this team as an Alternative Data Specialist.

This is a pivotal hire working closely with various internal stakeholders. The incumbent would be playing a key role as a thought leader in this nascent set-up specifically around Data Sourcing. The candidate would work closely with the front office to understand their Data Requirements and work on providing the right data through the use of alternative methods and dealing with external vendors. Further, this candidate will also be involved in data management, analytics & insights for related workstreams.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• 6+ years' of relevant experience
• Experience with Data Sourcing, Vendor Management
• Knowledge of Data workflows & management
• Extensive experience with Alternative Investment Data is desirable
• Strong stakeholder management
• Good multitasking skills
• Good communication skills required for this role
• Exposure to Data Science is a good to have
