Our client is a leading payment company in Singapore, overseeing the national clearing and payment infrastructure. Acting as the invisible backbone for all digital money transfers within the country, their payment rail infrastructure and card network are leveraged by central banks, clearing houses, and commercial banks to provide payment solutions for both individual consumers and corporate clients.

They are looking for a VP, Information Security Consultant to join the team. Reporting into the Head of Security Program Office, you will spearhead cyber security initiatives and create a roadmap to ensure all business initiatives meets regulatory standards. You will design and implement security frameworks and controls for payment systems and strategic projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to identify threats, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies. You will manage security projects, including resource planning and budgeting, to ensure timely delivery of security initiatives. Additionally, you will review existing payment systems, explore new security technologies, and support IT security audits as required.

To qualify, you must have the following:

• At least a bachelor's degree in Information Security or other related fields of study. Relevant cyber security certifications such as CISSP is a plus.
• Over 8 years of working experience in Information Security with at least 4 years of experience managing cyber security projects and initiatives in the financial industry.
• Knowledge of ISO27000, NIST security standards and physical payment terminal security standards (e.g. ISO8583 messaging, Debit/Credit transactions, PCI/EMV standards).
• Regulatory standards such as IBTRM (MAS Guidelines), PCI DSS and PCI PTS, etc.
• Internet security, application security, network security, cloud security, SDLC/CICD security, system & database security, card payment security. Cryptography, firewall, ZeroTrust, SSO/MFA.
• Effective communication and strong stakeholder management skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent project management skills and adept at managing concurrent projects and adjusting priorities as required.
• Able to collaborate in a team while also demonstrating independence and delivering results that meet high standards of quality, timeliness, and acceptance.
