VP of Supply Chain Network Strategy and Optimisation

A leading US Medical Device company is looking for a VP of Supply Chain Network Strategy and Optimisation is responsible for driving the strategic alignment, integration, and operational optimization of global supply chain functions. This role operates within a matrix structure that encompasses Manufacturing & Engineering, Distribution, Global Supplier Alliance (Procurement), Logistics & Planning, and Integrated Business Planning. Key responsibilities include leading initiatives in Data and Analytics, Business Excellence, and Strategic Network Planning, fostering collaboration across all functions, and integrating digital transformation initiatives with the Global Technology team. The VP is also accountable for developing a multiyear Productivity Roadmap and leading business cases for supply chain investments to enhance performance and drive long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrating global supply chain functions to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Driving continuous improvement and operational optimization using lean methodologies.
• Leading the Data and Analytics team to enable real-time, data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborating with the Global Technology team for successful digital transformation.
• Aligning supply chain strategies with overall business plans through Integrated Business Planning.
• Developing and executing Strategic Network Planning initiatives.
• Creating and delivering a multiyear productivity roadmap.
• Building a resilient and sustainable supply chain, integrating risk management and sustainability.
• Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to drive continuous improvements.

Key Deliverables:

• A 3-year supply chain integration roadmap.
• Measurable improvements in operational excellence.
• Implementation of digital transformation initiatives.
• Optimization of distribution and manufacturing operations.
• Sustained productivity gains through the productivity roadmap.
• Coordination with Integrated Business Planning leaders.
• Management of sustainability and resilience initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership in global supply chain management with a focus on strategy, integration, and operational excellence.
• Expertise in data analytics, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in matrixed organizations.
• Strong financial acumen for leading business cases and managing trade-offs.
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Supply Chain preferred.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in leading global supply chain operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
