VP, Private Banking Compliance Oversight

One of our key clients, a highly established investment bank globally, is currently seeking an excellent individual with compliance experience in Private Banking/ Wealth Management space to join their team in Singapore at VP level.

In the 2nd line of defence, you will work with the Front Office, global and regional teams on conduct or reputational risk matters that impact the APAC region.

Responsibilities:

• Provide active guidance and challenge to the business in new product development, changes to existing products and proactively drive change
• Provide thought leadership in development and delivery of strategy for the Private Banking Compliance Oversight team
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in all lines of defence and deliver training on the conduct risk topics which are relevant
• Stay abreast of the industry and regulatory development and support implementation by the business and project teams

Requirements:

• At least 10 years' Compliance experience in Private Banking/ Wealth Management
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience dealing with regulators
• Ability to work with global and regional teams
