VP, Security Operations Manager

A leading European Bank is seeking a VP, Security Operations Manager. This role will act as the APAC CISO.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the WM IT Risk and Security team in APAC, overseeing recruitment, performance reviews, and career development.
• Coordinate with APAC WM security actors and IT teams on risk and security topics, promoting a secure development culture.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements, including HKMA, MAS, GDPR, and FINMA.
• Oversee production security, application security testing, and contribute to cybersecurity programs in APAC.

Qualifications:

• Banking knowledge and understanding of Wealth Management.
• Deep knowledge of international and APAC banking regulations.
• Experience in information security evaluation and design of technical architectures.
• Team management experience is a must.

Technical Competencies:

• Cybersecurity Governance, DevSecOps, and application security.
• Source code management (e.g., SonarQube, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Security application scanning tools (e.g., Fortify, Qualys, NexusIQ).
• Automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible Tower, Jenkins).
• Vulnerability Management tools (e.g., Nexpose, Nessus).
