VP - Senior IT Risk Governance Manager

The IT Governance Manager is a crucial member of the Risk Management division 1.5 LoD, collaborating with various IT risk stakeholders to verify the effectiveness and oversight of controls (close collaboration with the second and third lines of defense, providing expert guidance regarding matters of IT risk).


This individual will report to the CTO and serve as the primary point of contact for IT matters in both internal and external audits and governance affairs. They will offer support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in responding to audit and MAS inquiries and following through on the necessary actions.


The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the proper management of all aspects related to audits, governance, and compliance, encompassing adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
This includes: defining, formulating, and implementing IT policies, processes, and procedures within the Technology division to ensure alignment with organizational policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.

The ideal profile:

  • Experience in Banking, Financial, FinTech or Payment industries is a must.
  • Profound knowledge of regulatory mandates and industry best practices, such as the NIST framework, MAS TRM Guidelines, MAS Cyber Hygiene, and the ISO 27001 standard.
  • Prior experience in engaging with external auditors and regulatory authorities, including MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore).
  • Current or previous experience in people management
