    RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deploy and execute Home Automation Business in the South Southeast Asia business units: Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia
  • Explore and secure new business development opportunities. Manage product portfolio and participate in market mapping to identify potential target groups for business actions
  • Initiate, present and deliver the automation concept and solutions to Key Developers, Design Architects and Engineers
  • Strategize and develop annual budget and action plan for targeted market segments, and work with internal teams to execute planned actions
  • Generate new leads with the aim of creating more sales to ensure the achievement of sales milestones and motivate desired actions from internal support professionals
  • Devise and implement appropriate strategy for meeting sales performance targets
    Collect, update and analyze customers' data, competitors' and market movement including price, products, network and service in order to make adjustments to plans or strategies to grow market share
  • Business Development involves scheduling appointments, preparing and delivering presentation to the client, having researched their business requirements; creating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements and other sales follow-up activities
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with key decision makers/customers in the process across all target groups; also ensure customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs appropriate to their business
  • Enhance product awareness and brand visibility in the market
  • Develop effective reporting and market analysis (status/progress) to all stakeholders for desired understanding of the business opportunity status
  • Coordinate with principal/ HQ to provide technical and non-technical trainings, support and services to customers regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of products
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
  • Work closely with personnel in alliance company to make a successful launch of product in the market
  • Diagnose problems with installed equipment (on site and off site), address any problem issues with customers or suppliers and resolve
  • Represent the company in marketing activity such as participation in trade show, exhibition and event
  • Drive peak performance and sales success across the organization
  • Work with the Logistic team on stock forecast to ensure customers' requirements are being met
  • Line management responsibility
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:
  • Min. Degree or Diploma in Intelligent Building Technology, Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline
    Preferably 8+ years of relevant work experience in similar industry and strong track record of B2B sales
  • Strong business acumen with understanding about the market and competitors' products in automation industry
  • Self-starter, ambitious, good research and strategic analysis skills
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and project management skill-set
  • Very strong interpersonal skill and enjoy networking with new people
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence
  • A team player with strong individual drive, a good sense of responsibility and task ownership, willing and capable of multi-tasking functions
  • Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Knowledge in AUTOCAD software will be a good advantage
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Willing to travel

Salary: $80K - 90K per annum
