As a Logistics Assistant Manager, your responsabilities will be:

  • Drive logistics initiative and projects including operational improvements and strategic planning
  • Support in developing and implementing Logistics plans in line with corporate Logistics strategy
  • Engineer innovative solutions to enhance the Logistic processes across countries
  • Interface with stakeholders and external providers to implement global transportation
  • Manage project management or support multiple small or large projects
  • Develop supply chain solutions which include costing model to support logistics activities in the region
  • Work to optimize the cost performance KPI, work very colsely with IT department

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering,
  • Self-motivated in a team-based environment with strong initiative, resourceful and ability to work independently
  • 7 years of similar experience in third party logistics operations, transportation, import/export, warehousing,
  • Proven track record in project management and management of logistics service providers
  • Good knowledge in cost modeling, analysis, operation planning and process management
  • Lean or/and Six Sigma experience preferred
