Position:Automated Chemistry Researcher
Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct automation project experiments independently, ensuring data accuracy and project completion on schedule.
  • Analyze experimental data using AI spectrum interpretation, and create charts and reports with software like Origin and ChemDraw.
  • Assess and optimize AI models and automation components in chemical settings, and provide feedback on system failures.
  • Collaborate with AI and automation teams to develop a robust AI-driven automation platform.
  • Ensure lab safety, efficient resource use, and routine equipment maintenance.
  • Mentor junior researchers, solve routine issues, and share expertise.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.

Necessary Qualifications and Qualities

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical synthesis, with knowledge of automation and computer science.
  • Minimum 2 years of organic synthesis experience, preferably over 3 years in a CRO/CDMO.
  • Strong organic chemistry foundation, lab equipment proficiency, and high safety awareness.
  • Excellent learning and problem-solving skills, results-oriented with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient in chemical software (ChemDraw, Scifinder/Reaxys) and literature research.
  • Strong work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Passion for pharmaceutical R&D and enthusiasm for AI and automation in the industry.
  • Fluent in English， basic Mandarin as you will need to engage with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
