Position: Business Development
Location: Singapore
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our market presence in the field of air pollution control.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, flue gas treatment, and business development. This role will focus on integrated engineering, construction, and operational solutions for flue gas desulfurization, denitrification, particulate control, acid gas treatment, and Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) flue gas treatment.
The candidate will also support our core business areas, including environmental protection, power generation, CCU (Carbon Capture and Utilization) technology, fertilizers, and algae.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development and Market Expansion:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the air pollution control sector.
o Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
* Project Management:
o Oversee the development and execution of integrated engineering, construction, and operational solutions for flue gas treatment projects.
o Ensure projects meet company standards for quality, safety, and environmental compliance
o Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of projects.
* Technical Expertise:
o Provide technical support and guidance on flue gas desulfurization (FGD), denitrification, particulate control, acid gas treatment, and FCC flue gas treatment.
o Stay current with industry trends and advancements in air pollution control technologies.
o Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to enhance existing technologies and develop new solutions.
*Sales and Marketing:
o Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
o Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars to promote technologies and solutions.
* Customer Support:
o Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
o Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
o Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services.
Qualifications
* Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
* Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the environmental or power generation industry.
o Proven track record of successfully securing and managing large-scale projects.
o Experience working in Singapore, Australia, or Taiwan is highly desirable.
* Skills:
o Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
o Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Technical Knowledge:
o In-depth understanding of flue gas treatment technologies, including FGD, denitrification, particulate control, acid gas treatment, and FCC flue gas treatment.
o Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards, particularly those related to air pollution control.
* Language:
o Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese as you will need to engage with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Travel Requirements
* Travel:
o Regular travel to China, is required for this role.
