Business Development Manager

Job description

Our clients are a global provider of services supporting the energy industry. They provide a wide range of value and performance driven solutions including offshore containers and services, specialised wind services, and aviation services. They're looking for a Business Development Manager for their Singapore Team. The candidate is required to identify target customers and/or accounts, and subsequently develop effective sales strategy to win new customers and projects. The candidate required to develop go to market strategy and generate leads and opportunities to elevate the company to the top 3 suppliers in Southeast Asia for Offshore Aviation products and services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the Commercial Manager to prepare and deliver a yearly sales plan, monthly sales estimates, and a budget.
  • Responsible for the given portfolio's sales and margins
  • Point of contact for customers within the portfolio
  • Using CRM, enter, track, and follow-up on all leads and opportunities, track and analyse win/loss data, and make suggestions.
  • Other ad-hoc requests, market research, sales reports and meetings/ conferences as and when required by management
  • Attend weekly meetings and offer updates on actions taken the previous week and actions needed the next week.

Key requirements:

  • At least 5 years of technical sales experience in Oil & Gas/Energy/Aviation
  • Demonstrated experience in new business development initiatives and activities, preferably in Offshore Aviation sector
  • Ability to convert client needs into business strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in project management.
