Business Development Manager

My client is a leading player in the retail industry, and they are currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to be part of their organization.

This key role will involve negotiating with clients to secure new store locations, managing a local team, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful opening and operation of new stores. If you have a strong background in real estate and retail, along with excellent project management and negotiation skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure prime store locations in Singapore.
  • Utilize your expertise in real estate and retail to research the market and identify the best store locations.
  • Work with Operations to monitor and manage lease conditions and successfully sign leases.
  • Partner with designers and contractors to ensure store decoration and adjustments are carried out smoothly.
  • Collaborate with HR on workforce planning, efficiency calculations, and staffing requirements when needed.
  • Drive store opening goals and ensure the successful realization of performance targets for expansion.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong background in real estate and retail, particularly in store expansion.
  • Proven ability to independently negotiate and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
