Position: Chief of Staff

Key Responsibilities

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and strategically minded Chief of Staff (CoS) to serve as a trusted partner to our CEO and executive team. This role is a unique blend of strategy, operations, and project management, offering high visibility across all functions and the opportunity to drive mission-critical initiatives from conception to execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and can seamlessly balance big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
* Partner with the CEO to translate company vision into actionable strategic plans, OKRs, and roadmaps.
* Track progress against strategic goals, flag risks, and recommend corrective actions to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.
* Conduct market, competitive, and internal data analyses to inform executive decision-making.
Cross-Functional Program Management
* Lead or coordinate high-priority, cross-functional projects (e.g., product launches, market expansion, M&A integration).
* Establish project governance, timelines, and KPIs; ensure clear accountability across teams.
* Remove roadblocks, facilitate resource allocation, and streamline communication between departments.
Executive Operations & Communications
* Oversee the CEO's internal and external communications, including board decks, investor updates, and all-hands presentations.
* Manage executive leadership meeting agendas, documentation, and follow-through on action items.
* Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and senior leaders, board members, investors, and external partners.
Organizational Effectiveness
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and culture.
* Drive the implementation of new processes, tools, and best practices across the organization.
* Support talent initiatives such as leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.
Special Projects & Ad-Hoc Analysis
* Take ownership of ad-hoc strategic analyses and special projects as directed by the CEO.
* Prepare briefing materials, financial models, and scenario plans to support executive decisions.
Requirements
* 7+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy/operations, or a high-growth startup environment.
* Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable presenting to C-suite and board audiences.
* High emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to influence without authority.
* Proficiency in project-management tools (Asana, Jira, Monday, etc.) and advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides.
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
