Energy Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Energy Sales Manager to join a well-known Engineering company. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will be pivotal in identifying leads, evaluating opportunities and negotiating strategic partnerships within the renewable energy sector. Your role will focus on achieving sales targets with optimal gross margins and providing expert insights into electrical and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales order intake with desired gross margins for Power and Renewables.
  • Serve as a regional expert in designing and reviewing electrical and automation deliverables for holistic renewable energy solutions.
  • Conduct and review power system studies, load flow analysis, and grid islanding studies.
  • Perform electrical safety audits and manage vendor relationships for hardware acquisition and technical support.
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Solution Sales team to expand integrated solutions business.
  • Foster long-term relationships with major local accounts.
  • Leverage your background in sustainability and renewable project investments, particularly within Southeast Asia.
  • Coordinate with regional and global teams on preliminary design, budgeting and procurement for solutions.
  • Identify target customers for executive solutions sales and address their concerns and risks.
  • Drive innovation programs and form performance contract frameworks with legal support.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant disciplines.
  • 7-10 years of experience in new energy and energy transition markets, including solar, wind, battery.
  • Hands-on electrical knowledge to design optimized solutions.
  • Professional accreditation in renewables or energy is advantageous.
