French MNC - Regional Tax Advisor | Up to $ 8k | CBD

• Provide advisory support on taxation matters for APAC business unit
• Min 6 years of tax experience in broad range of tax matters including transfer pricing
• Contract till end 2023 / Highly Convertible
• Basic Salary up to $ 8000
• Experienced in working with global energy/ trading commodity industry/ Big 4

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible in providing advisory support relating to direct tax, indirect tax, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing and M&A tax matter for the Asia Pacific businesses while closely working with key stakeholders to understand the tax impact of business operations
• Monitor the regulations changes closely and update on tax legislations and regulations to appropriate stakeholders
• Support on transfer pricing compliance and documentation ensuring compliance and supportable documentation while closely working with key stakeholders to understand the transactions
• Assist with research and implementation of various tax strategies and planning; and making appropriate recommendations to achieve an adequate implementation taking into considerations applicable constraints
• Interact and communicate with key stakeholder ensuring that tax needs are identified, considered and communicated

• Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Job Requirements:

• CA/ CPA/ Tax qualified certifications highly preferred
• Min 6 years of tax experience in broad range of tax matters including transfer pricing
• Experienced in working in global energy markets/ trading commodity industry/ Big 4 firms preferred
• Regional tax advisory experience is a huge PLUS!
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills in understanding business operations and key drivers
• Excellent written and spoken English communications in liaising with regional stakeholders
