General Manager, Regional Manager

Job description

My clients are one of the largest freight forwarding companies in their region. They offer a variety of transport and logistics solutions. They're currently looking for a General Manager who can support the regional sales format, to join the Singapore team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maximize profits through business development by targeting regional level corporate customers.
  • To provide large-scale, globally active corporate customers with comprehensive business solutions that extend from the downstream to the middle and upstream of the supply chain, and to become a customer's management partner (LLP：Lead Logistics Partner) through supply chain reform, business process and structural reform. Thereby, to increase customer's corporate value and customer value while maximizing customer's experience, satisfaction, and support for the company. To make business relation between customer and our company long-term sustainable, which maximize our company's profits.

The target areas are Singapore and Asean Region.

  • Responsible for the development of new corporate accounts on a regional level and to promote close co-operation within the company.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Profit/Loss, Operating Revenue & Gross Profit planning is set annually for the regional accounts.
  • Responsible for improving business relationship for targeted accounts in a regional role and to promote close co-operation with all the relevant stakeholders within the company.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's in supply chain management or related disciplines.
  • Over 10 years of regional sales experiences and knowledge in the international trade and logistics industry.
  • Understand the management issues of the target corporate customers.
  • Make proposals that improves the corporate value and customer value of the customer as a result of the grasped management issues together with the preparation of materials.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Team responsiveness
