Position: GM Operation- Singapore
Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operations & Execution (50 %)
  1. Turn group strategy into Singapore-ready operational playbooks and service standards that set us apart.
  2. Own the full "workboat → ROV → pilot" workflow-from first customer call to final delivery-ensuring every step is lean and repeatable.
  3. Drive continuous improvement with hard KPIs: cleaning output per labour-hour, incident response time, etc.
  4. Design and run emergency playbooks for equipment failures, extreme weather, and other critical events

Ecosystem & Compliance (30 %)

  1. Secure and renew all key licences and permits by working directly with MPA, MOM, EDB and other agencies.
  2. Build a cost-efficient local supply web: charter vessels, service partners, port facilities, spare-parts vendors.
  3. Forge strategic alliances with shipyards, terminal operators and other maritime stakeholders to broaden our service portfolio.

Team & Culture (20 %)

  1. Hire, coach and lead a 60- to 70-person team (15-20 HQ staff + 50+ ROV pilots/technicians).
  2. Embed a culture of "flawless execution, safety first" to boost engagement and client trust.
  3. Make the company the go-to employer for maritime-tech talent in Singapore.
Requirements
  • 5 + years leading B2B operations-ideal backgrounds: Head of Maritime/Offshore Services, Port/Shipping Operations Director, or Heavy-Equipment Service Delivery Lead.
  • Track record of building and running 10 + cross-functional teams with full P&L accountability.
  • Startup or greenfield setup experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Chinese corporate decision-making styles is a plus.
  • Languages: fluent English and Mandarin( as you need to engage with Mandarin speaking stakeholders); Malay is advantageous.
