Head of Marketing

About our client

Our clients are a leading retailer with a dominating presence in the Pan-Asian market. They're looking for a Marketing Head to join their Singapore team. The role oversees the development of company Marketing strategy and drive the implementation of the overall brand and marketing plans for the Singapore market to meet the organization's business goals.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage overall marketing and brand strategy to maximize category/retail sales in the local market, collaborating with internal functions such as Commercial, Operations, and Ecommerce
  • In charge of marketing of all own brand launches in local markets to meet growth objectives and KPIs. Manage, coach, and motivate direct reports to ensure key skills are in place. Foster a collaborative, open team environment.
  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of marketing campaigns by managing the team. Establish performance metrics, track offline and online performance to ensure ROI.
  • Work with external agencies (creative, media, PR, etc.) to implement omni-channel campaigns
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively and efficiently
  • Coordinate with regional marketing team and other country marketers to ensure synergy and harmonization

Requirements

  • Degree / MBA level or equivalent is desired
  • 10+ years' relevant trade marketing experience
  • Demonstrated management ability to manage a small team
  • Retail and/or FMCG experience preferred
  • Track record of successful results (quantifiable) linked to strategy, planning, and execution
