Key Account Manager

Job description

Our clients are an American MNC that fall under the FMCG industry and are a worldwide leader in their domain. They're looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team in Singapore.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the financial goals (sales and profitability) for the identified key accounts in collaboration with the sales manager.
  • Trade spends management & delivery of positive ROI
  • Establish continuous business relationships with important account buyers. Manage trade spending and provide great ROI.
  • Create, present, and carry out a plan, including sales and promotions, trade expenditures, and successful sales strategy and promotion plans for important accounts.
  • Create trade promotion programs in collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Assist major accounts in the formal quarterly business review process.
  • Increase sales profit by launching new products, enhancing shelving and display, and running promotions.
  • Ensure prompt implementation of the company marketing strategy with key accounts.
  • Put into practice the essential store drivers (range, space, promotion, and display), working as necessary with the store planning teams. As agreed, upon with purchasers, make sure the proper approvals are in place for planograms, end caps, display stands, feature sections, and special events.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in consumer/retail sales
  • An advantage would be to have experience working with department stores or specialty channel clients.
  • Multi-brand sales expertise in the local market.
  • Excellent oral and written English
  • PC literate with good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Results-oriented, risk-tolerant, and persistent in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Good prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Adapts response to circumstances, flexible in handling change and comfortable working independently.
