Legal Business Development and Marketing Manager
Job description
My client is a leading international law firm with a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region. With over two decades of experience in the region, the firm is highly regarded in its commitment to delivering strategic, client-focused legal solutions through a collaborative and commercially-minded approach.
They are looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Business Development and Marketing Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives in Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves working closely with partners and stakeholders to drive client engagement, support major pursuits, and enhance business development capabilities. The position includes leadership of a small local team and collaboration with regional and global colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies for Singapore and regional practice groups.
- Lead marketing initiatives focused on key clients and service lines.
- Manage strategic client relationships and contribute to global and regional client programs.
- Conduct client interviews and follow-ups as part of the client insights program.
- Coach partners and lawyers on business development and client relationship skills.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across practice areas and geographies.
- Oversee strategic pursuits and proposal development.
- Drive thought leadership aligned with firm priorities.
- Analyze market and client data to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector is advantageous.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail and execution capability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- High levels of integrity, adaptability, and a proactive, optimistic approach.
