Legal Secretary (Litigation)

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to litigation fee earners
  • Prepare, amend, proofread, and finalize correspondence and complex legal documents accurately and on time

  • Manage diaries, meetings, calls, travel arrangements, and general office administration

  • Assist with client/matter openings, conflict checks, and document management systems

  • Maintain databases, filing, archiving, and contact records

  • Support billing processes including invoices, time reports, draft bills, and follow-ups

Requirements

  • 3+ years of legal secretarial experience, preferably in litigation

  • Excellent written and spoken communication

  • Strong typing skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Well-organised, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team
