Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional and technical support for trading and risk management platforms, ensuring smooth operation of real-time position management systems.
  • Monitor and manage production incidents, lead troubleshooting efforts, and coordinate with traders, risk managers, and technology teams to minimize disruptions.
  • Drive problem management by identifying root causes, implementing preventive measures, and ensuring continuous system improvements.
  • Work closely with trading, risk, and IT teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Support change management processes, including functional testing and deployment validation.
  • Automate monitoring, alerting, and reporting for proactive issue detection.
  • Provide user training and create documentation on system functionalities and tools.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of cross-asset production with a particular focus on IRD, CRD, Rates, and Risk Management concepts.
  • Solid experience in production support for financial markets, preferably with traders and risk management teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, UNIX/Linux, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
  • Exposure to middleware technologies (Kafka, Redis, GridGain, etc.) and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite).
  • Understanding of IT Risk and Security best practices in financial institutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of Datasynapse, Apache Ignite (GridGain), and automated workflow orchestration tools.
