Presales Consultant - SCADA

Job description

Our client is a global multinational industrial control and automation company. They offer industrial automation technology and solutions.

With expansion plans, they are now looking for Pre-sales Consultant SCADA to join their dynamic team during this exciting time.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in implementing safety concepts in applications such as motion applications (safe kinematics, cause and effect matrix) and solutions that address today's business needs and future growth.
  • Develop together with the HQ and Vertical Department Go-To-Market activities and business development strategy.
  • Develop and implement innovative Safety solutions within the market leading automation in combination with digitization tools and simulation
  • Knowledge of the competition products and the specific customer issues
  • Planning and conducting of product and system training courses, seminars, customer support at trade fairs and end customer presentations as well as teaching events.

The Ideal Candidate would have

  • Degree in Electronics, Machine Building, Information Technology or any relevant disciplines
  • Min 3 years of relevant experience in Engineering, PLC Programming and Automation projects.
  • Understanding Machine Safety Engineering and System layouts, Industrial Safety certifications preferred.
  • Technical understanding and application know-how in factory automation, Sales knowledge (Market, Competitor and Customer demands).
  • Readiness to learn new things in terms of Digitalization and IoT.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels and to conduct Workshops.
  • Readiness to travel and being flexible, this role is for the Asia / Pacific Market
