Procurement Analyst (6 months)

Job description

  • Support the development of procurement strategies, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders on cost optimisation and process enhancements.

  • Continuously review workflows to streamline procedures and raise operational efficiency.

  • Assist in overseeing the full procurement cycle from quotation to final contract.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of procurement policies, guidelines, and templates such as RFQs and RFPs.

  • Coordinate and manage sourcing activities including RFQ and RFP processes.Ensure purchase orders are issued in line with established procurement policies.

  • Maintain and analyse procurement data for cost reviews, scenario analysis, and benchmarking.Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement-related risks.

  • Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.

  • Review purchase orders, quotations, and tender documents to identify commercial or legal risks and recommend necessary changes.

  • Highlight incomplete information, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure contract consistency when needed.

  • Obtain necessary approvals for non-standard terms and conditions.

  • Lead or support negotiations on contract terms to protect business interests.

  • Ensure contract management procedures are followed and agreements are approved on time.

  • Maintain an accurate and updated contract database with key commercial and legal details.
