Regional Sales Manager, Marine

Our clients are looking for a Regional Sales Manager, Marine and play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies for clients within the marine industry. They are a reputable company committed to revolutionizing industries through innovative technologies, sustainability, and unparalleled customer service.

​​​​​​​To be successful in this role you would bring knowledge and understanding of the marine industry along with a solid industrial machinery/equipment sales experience (e.g. heat exchangers, boilers, freshwater generators, etc.) to drive revenue growth from both existing and new businesses.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop business strategy: Create a strategic sales plan in line with division objectives to drive revenue growth within the assigned region.
  • Implement sales and business development activities: Implement sales and business development initiatives leading to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Forecast and monitor sales: Forecast sales and track progress against targets for improvement.
  • Implement efficient sales strategies: Design structured approaches to maximize team efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and manage team: Direct the sales team, emphasizing performance improvement through coaching and motivation.

Key Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical sales of products & services in the marine industry.
  • Able to communicate with different stakeholders both technical and non-technical.
  • Proactive and customer-centric with the ability to deliver to customer's satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated and a team player who can not only execute sales strategies but also can drive and motivate the team to deliver successful results.
