Regional VP for Network Sales
Job description
My client is within the FinTech industry providing network solutions to their global clients in financial markets. They are looking for a Regional VP for Network Sales to join their team in their Singapore office. This is a key Sales role, and you would be taking care of the revenue growth and business development within the entire APAC region, while providing leadership to sales team.
You would bring expertise in handling end-to-end sales cycle and be able to identify new key clients and bring them onboard. Your key focus would be to provide consultative sales experience to new and existing clients to provide them with network solutions that address their issues leading to regular revenue generation. Your leadership experience in managing high-performing international sales teams would be valuable in providing them with a platform for continued success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create compelling business cases that involve customers or prospects, focusing on the customer's business needs.
- Find innovative solutions to pressing problems, engage in out-of-the-box thinking for client or sales campaigns.
- Lead and develop account and territory sales strategies with the team to ensure revenue growth within the APAC region.
- Liaise with internal teams to formulate solutions based on the client's needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels and explore cross-selling opportunities beyond Network Solutions.
- Provide leadership, guide and coach team members to ensure they continue to perform at a high level.
- Take part in regular discussions with management on pipeline, market conditions, competition, products, etc.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 10 years or more of relevant experience in selling Network solutions within the region, ideally within the financial markets sector.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure such as MPLS, WAN, VPN, etc is essential.
- Deep understanding of the financial market and the competition.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing sales team.
- Great communication and presentation skills, with the ability to design practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Able to travel within the region to visit clients.
- Mandarin is a requirement for this position as you would work and liaise with clients and vendors in the China market.
