Sales Manager

My clients are amongst Japan's top three players within the Transportation, Logisitcs and Supply Chain industry. They've been in Singapore for 12 years now and have been able to compete with the leading companies within the same domain. They're looking for an seasoned Sales Manager with expereicne in 3PL/Fright forwarding/courier industry background to join their growing team in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass the goals set for the company's contribution to and generation of operating revenue and gross profit.
  • To reach monthly customer prospect management goals and sales revenue targets with a gross profit margin.
  • Using aggressive sales tactics to find new sales opportunities.
  • In charge of primarily obtaining new clients and maintaining/developing new business from current clients.
  • To cultivate strong business ties with potential clients through frequent contacts and visits to create new revenue sources.
  • Creative in offering clients supply chain management solutions.
  • Increase gross profit by working with both new and existing clients at the rates specified in the guidelines.

Key requirements:

  • Acute sense of hunting and developing new sales opportunities.
  • Experience in acquiring new potential customers, cold calling, or e-mail.
  • Experience in Key Account Management and formulation of sales strategies.
  • Proven record of accomplishment and negotiation skills with ability to close business wins.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in 3rd Party Logistics & distribution and / or Freight forwarding (Especially B2C / B2B2C / Small Parcel) and / or e-commerce Industry.
