Sales Manager (Regional)

Job description

My clients are within the Tech industry dealing with personal data/identity protection and security. They are a global company operating in more than 15 countries and doing business in over 90 countries. They are high-tech software company looking to hire a dynamic Sales Manager (Regional) to join their team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the APAC Head of Sales to
    • Identify target opportunities in different countries and categorize them based on milestone timings
    • Develop and execute sales plan in specific territories
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets by delivering to existing clients
  • Conduct regular Business Development activities, including lead generation, bidding and negotiations to close new clients
  • Actively identify and carefully assess new growth opportunities within assigned territories (grow and maintain project pipeline), along with strategies to effectively close them
  • Drive demand through effective promotion at selected industry trade events and speak to and network with industry professionals as a trusted expert
  • Meticulously document client requirements, competition landscape and opportunities in appointed markets to facilitate timely forecasts and reports to the management
  • Collaborate with other functions of the business i.e. Marketing, Finance, R&D and Management to finalize opportunities and strategies

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Business
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience in selling tech solutions with an excellent record of sales achievement
  • Experience working with government agencies is highly desirable
  • Understanding of the regional market is essential and experience in public safety, biometrics and similar markets would be desirable
  • Be able to analyse and effectively communicate sales strategies for different territories based on the factors affecting each territory
  • Able to understand and analyse technical documentation and journals to leverage them for overall growth of the business
