Senior Sales Engineer

Job description

My client - A global leader in industrial solutions is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to grow its valves and control systems business in Singapore. This role is ideal for a technically inclined sales professional with a strong understanding of customer needs and a passion for driving business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, bookings, and profitability goals.
  • Develop winning strategies to secure new business and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, project execution, and post-sales service.
  • Promote products and services through training, marketing programs, and field engagement.
  • Collaborate with product specialists to deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across product and service portfolios.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in marine, oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or Automation).
  • Experience in technical sales, especially in valves, is a strong advantage.
