Trade Marketing & Business Development Manager

Job description

Our client is a leading supermarket retail player with more than 50 outlets in the country. The company has progressed radically over the years and continues to transform to cater to the ever-evolving consumer needs. Currently, they're looking for a Brand Manager specializing in the Trade marketing and Business Development space to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-depth analysis of sales data to identify problems and opportunities by category, channel, and format
  • Plan and strategize growth strategies for certain categories
  • Ensure that plans, such as campaign and trade operations, are carried out
  • For brick-and-mortar formats, lead channel liaison for the Non-Food portfolio
  • Based on market trends, recommend new products
  • Manage the launch of new products

Qualification

  • Degree in Business Management/ Marketing

Other Information

  • Minimum 6 years' experience
  • Proven experience in commercial management in a CPG/FMCG company
  • Experience with supermarkets/grocery chains would be a plus
  • Ability to generate actionable insights from large qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to formulate robust growth strategies to achieve commercial targets
