1 Year contract Business Execution Consultant

Job Duties:

• Work in the International Controllers change management team on a specific timebound project, assisting with the development of key APAC regulatory reporting requirements primarily.
  
• Assist in writing user stories to reflect the business requirements of various regulatory reporting modules and liaise with technology team members through Agile scrum methodology to ensure requirements are understood.
  
• Ensure, where possible, that operational risk through manual processes is minimised, leverage digital tools (Alteryx, Power BI etc) to develop automated solutions where technology solutions are unavailable.
  
• Analyse regulatory guidance and provide SME insights when forming requirements for reporting modules, challenging existing approaches in a thoughtful manner where appropriate to ensure full regulatory compliance.
  
• Assist in documenting processes and decisions as part of project delivery to reporting teams.
  

• Drive knowledge management, training, and other initiatives to impart Innovation best practices and knowledge across internal and cross-functional stakeholders
  

Job Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of core regulatory and financial reporting responsibilities and outputs (capital & liquidity, financial & statistical, core financial reporting) for APAC regions, plus broad knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and services
  
• 8 - 10 years of work experience with at least half of the time in innovation / design consulting or product development
  
• Understanding of risks and mitigating controls expected within a regulatory reporting function
  
• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum) project delivery methodology and track record of delivering regulatory change in this environment
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate and structure technical concepts into succinct and easily digestible thought pieces
  
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree; MBA or Master Degree highly desirable
  
• Axiom Experience is preferred
