Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Merchant Business Implementation Team on the end-to-end process of merchant acquiring implementation which includes comprehensive project planning, coordination, and execution of complex payment-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and error free.

  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, defining strategy, identifying resource requirements, and managing timelines, resources, and dependencies, such as merchant readiness and gateway configuration.

  • Involved in the implementation of POS terminal solutions

  • Involved in the implementation of payment systems

  • Ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new merchants by coordinating necessary training and support and providing seamless post-go-live handovers to BAU teams.

  • Support Merchant Business Compliance to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and global

  • Support Merchant Business Compliance to update the SOP

  • Serve as the client-facing technical point of contact, acting as a trusted advisor and interface between merchants, technical teams, and internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Legal, Operations).

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, coordinating with gateway providers and internal tech teams to resolve incidents swiftly. Identify problems immediately and put contingency plans in place to minimize project impact.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology).

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in payment systems with proven experience managing end-to-end implementation projects in the banking or financial services industry.

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end transaction flow, from authentication to authorization, capture, settlement, and reconciliation.

  • Familiarity with relevant APIs, H2H integrations is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
